Hi Kristina, co-sleeping is invariably practices in most asian countries. Not that I did not try to get my kids to unsuccessful ly sleep in their own room at about five months as suggested by American doctors, but, with our breed of whiny, stubborn Indian geneD kids, it was just not possible. I must confess, I was better rested despite the lack of space and waking up for breastfeeding. My kids feel free to come to our room and be more open anytime. And we share that bond even today when they r 8 and 10.. thank you for this well researched article
