Thanks for the honest piece. Sometimes practical decisions need to be made. In your case, quitting a job that was affecting your health and ability to think, was the practical choice. I made a practical choice coming to Germany in the middle of a pandemic, leaving my family, with no way to go and visit them even. Everyone calls me a fool. I think learning a new language and a new skill, that would make future certain was worth the time away from family. There is nothing greater than one’s own happiness, and if you constantly live in an environment that seeps you in, you are not only being untrue to yourself, but also to the people who live you.
