The mistake most newbies make is that they relegate formatting to the background. But it shouldn’t be so if you want to get your stories curated. Once you’ve used subheads, italics, bold, numbers, bulleted lists, and other formatting tools to highlight the key elements in your story, the next thing you can do is read through your work to identify salient points you can call the reader’s attention to. Then you the blockquote formatting to guide your reader to them.
